Warehouse and van stock: what goes on the work order is deducted

Van stock rarely matches the list at the office. In TelMaar material you put on the work order is deducted from your van right away, without a separate action.

Warehouse, van and purchasing

You have a central warehouse and a van stock per technician. Stock can never go below zero and stays correct when two technicians take something at the same time. For restocking you record suppliers and purchase orders; receipt books in, never more than was ordered.

How to set it up

  1. 1Go to Settings, Stock and create your warehouse and the vans.
  2. 2Put items in stock with quantity and location.
  3. 3Fill a van from the warehouse with a transfer.
  4. 4Put material on the work order; it comes off that van automatically.

Restocking

  • The restock proposal shows what is almost gone before you run out.
  • Create a purchase order at the supplier and book the receipt when it arrives.
  • A correction on the van is done in the app under Van stock, with a reason.
Material the technician puts on the work order comes off their van stock.
