Connecting TelMaar to another system: API keys, webhooks and calendar
If you want to connect TelMaar to another system, it must be safe and targeted: an integration belongs only to the company it is meant for, and other systems want to know when something happens without asking all the time.
Keys, scopes and webhooks
An API key belongs to one company and gets scopes: the permissions that determine what it may and may not access. A webhook is an address of another system that TelMaar calls on an event, such as a completed job or a sent invoice. If that fails the first time, the notification is delivered again.
How to set up an integration
- 1Go to Settings and choose API and webhooks; this requires the role with security rights.
- 2Click New key, choose the scopes and copy the key right away: it is shown only once.
- 3Add a webhook with the address of the other system and the events it should fire on.
- 4Test the webhook; under Deliveries you see per attempt whether it arrived.
Other integrations
- Calendar: subscribe per user to an ICS calendar and revoke the link when needed.
- Article import from 2BA: bring in article data without overwriting your own sales price; this is one-way.
- Bank, e-invoice (UBL) and the XAF audit file are described on the Integrations page.
