What only works on the web
The app is made for work on the move: photographing a receipt, logging hours, having a work order signed. Work that needs you to sit down quietly, you do on the web.
You do this on telmaar.nl
- The planning board: assigning engineers and dragging appointments across the weekly grid.
- The project list. In the app you only open a project through a direct link.
- Creating a credit note. The app does show what is being credited back on the invoice you are crediting.
- Setting up two-factor authentication. In the app you only see whether it is switched on.
- Viewing and changing your subscription.
- Inviting users and changing roles.
- Uploading your company logo, in PNG, JPG or WEBP up to 2 MB.
- Importing contacts from a CSV file.
- Downloading and editing documents. Opening and viewing does work in the app.
- Fine-tuning a product: in the app a new product defaults to the unit piece and 21 percent VAT.
- Registering your company. You complete that on telmaar.nl, after which you log in to the app with the same account.
- Help and contact.
How to recognise it in the app
In the More menu and in Settings, such rows carry the words on the web where an arrow pointing right would otherwise be. Those rows therefore do not open a screen.
On the planning board a screen does open, but it only tells you that the dragging and dropping happens in the web app.
Why it works that way
Some things need a large screen, such as the planning board with a column per engineer. Others produce a final document, such as a credit note, which immediately gets a number and the status Sent.
An honest pointer is better than a button that promises something which does not happen. That is why those actions are not in the app as half-working screens.
